Abstract
A process to prepare cellulose acetate fibers useful for preparation of paper products. This process includes PA1 (A) tensioning a running band of cellulose acetate filter tow, PA1 (B) contacting the tensioned tow with water, PA1 (C) removing water from the tow, PA1 (D) drying the tow, PA1 (E) cutting the dried tow into lengths, and PA1 (F) packaging the cut tow.
