Abstract

A color photographic silver halide material in which at least one coupler is dissolved or dispersed in a coupler solvent corresponding to the following formula: ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl, PA1 R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are alkylene or alkenylene, PA1 X is CO, NHCO or SO.sub.2, PA1 n is 0 or 1 and PA1 l, m are numbers of 1 to 5, is distinguished by steep gradation and improved maximum density.
