Abstract
Pt(IV) complexes of formula I, ##STR1## where X is halide, pseudohalide or OH, PA1 R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are H, C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or R.sup.1 NH.sub.2 is a heterocyclic hydrogen donor, and may be the same or different, PA1 R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are H, C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl and may be the same or different, and PA1 R.sup.5 is H, Me or Et, have activity in vitro and in vivo against cancer cells.
