Abstract
When a PMT "views" a scintillation event in the scintillation crystal of a scintillation camera system, the PMT produces an output signal. Based on the output signal, the event can be localized to a circular locus of points ("PMT locus"). Further localization can be accomplished on the basis of straight lines which are unambigously determined by intersections between such PMT loci.
