Abstract

There are provided new substituted pyrazolines of the general formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents optionally substituted phenyl and either PA0 R.sup.2 represents a radical of the formula --CO--R.sup.7, --COOR.sup.7 or --SO.sub.2 --R.sup.7, where R.sup.7 has the meaning given in the text of the application, and PA0 R.sup.3 represents hydrogen, alkyl or halogenoalkyl or PA0 R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded represent a heterocycle PA0 R.sup.4 represents hydrogen, alkyl, halogenoalkyl, halogenoalkylthio, halogen, alkoxycarbonyl or in each case optionally substituted cycloalkyl or aryl, PA0 R.sup.5 represents hydrogen or alkyl, PA0 R.sup.6 represents in each case optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl or 3,4-disubstituted phenyl and PA0 X represents oxygen or sulphur. The new substituted pyrazolines have a highly pronounced activity against animal pests, in particular against insects.
