Abstract

The present invention relates to the organopolysiloxanes having the formula EQU [R.sup.1 Si(OSiR.sup.2.sub.2 X).sub.2 OSiR.sup.2.sub.2 O.sub.1/2 ].sub.a [R.sub.3 SiO.sub.1/2 ].sub.b [R.sub.2 SiO].sub.c [RSiO.sub.3/2 ].sub.d [SiO.sub.2 ].sub.e (1), where PA1 R is optionally substituted C.sub.1 - to C.sub.18 -hydrocarbon radicals, PA1 R.sup.1 is an optionally substituted C.sub.6 - to C.sub.15 -hydrocarbon radical having at least one phenyl ring, PA1 R.sup.2 is a C.sub.1 - to C.sub.3 -hydrocarbon radical, PA1 X is a hydrogen atom or an organic or organosilicon functional group bonded via a divalent, optionally substituted C.sub.2 - to C.sub.15 -hydrocarbon radical, with one or more methylene units of the hydrocarbon radical being able to be replaced by oxygen atoms bonded on both sides to carbon atoms, PA1 a is an integer of at least 1 and PA1 b, c, d and e are each 0 or a positive integer, and the sum of a, b, c, d and e is at least 3, and the process for the preparation thereof.
