Abstract
Functional fluids comprising an oil of lubricating viscosity, the reaction product of an amine and a sulfonic acid, and at least one sulfur-containing compound of the structure EQU (RX).sub.3 P.dbd.X where X is sulfur or oxygen exhibit good anti-rust and antiwear performance.
