Abstract
Disclosed is a non-naturally-occurring polypeptide having neural growth inhibitory action which has an amino acid sequence represented by the formula: EQU Thr Cys Pro Cys Pro Ser Gly Gly Ser Cys Thr Cys Ala Asp Ser Cys Lys Cys Glu. The polypeptide of the present invention having neural growth inhibitory action is useful for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
