Abstract
Amino-containing polymer systems which are suitable for the preparation of binders for printing inks can be obtained by synthesizing a polymer or polymer mixture A from at least one compound from each of the groups PA1 (a) epoxides, carbonates, epoxide-carbonates, PA1 (b) amines and PA1 (c) phenols, at least partial neutralization of the resulting polymer or polymer mixture A, and transfer to water, and optionally, preparing a water-insoluble polymer B which can be prepared by polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers in the presence of the polymer or polymer mixture A.
