Abstract
Mixtures of a herbicidally effective amount of a haloacetamide of formula I ##STR1## and, to antagonize the herbicide, an antidotally effective amount of a compound of formula II EQU R--CHYCl (II) wherein R is defined herein, suitable for controlling weeds in crops of cultivated plants, particularly maize.
