Abstract

Ethylenically unsaturated bile acid derivatives of the formula I EQU G--X--A I in which G, X and A have the meanings indicated, are described. They are suitable for the preparation of polymeric bile acid derivatives. Bile acid derivatives of the formula IVa EQU G--X' IVa in which G and X' have the meanings indicated, are also described. They are useful synthesis components for the preparation of pharmaceuticals.
