Abstract
A process is disclosed for providing a solvent-spun cellulose fibre with a reduced fibrillation tendency. The fibre is treated with a chemical reagent, preferably substantially colourless, having 2 to 6 functional groups reactive with cellulose, suitably dissolved in an aqueous solution.
