Abstract

Fireproofing glasses containing gels free from organic gel formers are characterized in that they have been prepared with gel formers which contain PA0 a) acidic aluminium phosphates and PA0 b) reaction products of boric acid with alkanolamines, a) and b) being present in a weight ratio of 100:55 to 100:0.5, calculated as solids.
