Abstract

A process for cleaning hard surfaces comprising contacting the hard surfaces with a composition containing: PA1 (a) from 0.1 to 50% by weight, based on the weight of the composition, of an alkyl polyglucoside having the general formula R O Z.sub.x wherein R is C.sub.8-10, O is oxygen, x is an integer from 1 to 6, and Z is a sugar unit; PA1 (b) from 0.001 to 30% by weight, based on the weight of the composition, of a C.sub.6-16 fatty alcohol alkoxylate having an HLB value greater than 10; PA1 (c) from 0.001 to 15% by weight, based on the weight of the composition, of a C.sub.8-22 fatty acid; and PA1 (d) the balance up to 100% water.
