Abstract
A method for processing a black-and-white silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising the steps of PA1 (1) developing an imagewise exposed black-and-white silver halide photographic light-sensitive material with a developing solution in the presence of a complex forming compound, PA1 (2) fixing with a fixing solution, PA1 (3) washing or stabilizing with water or a stabilizing solution, respectively, and PA1 (4) drying the washed or stabilized light-sensitive material, wherein the light-sensitive material comprises a support and at least one silver halide emulsion layer and optionally one or more non-light-sensitive hydrophilic colloid layers provided on a first side of the support, and a layer provided on the second side opposite to the fist side of the support, and at least one of the silver halide emulsion layer and the non-light sensitive hydrophilic layer adjacent to the silver halide emulsion layer provided on the first side of the support contains a hydrazine compound, at least one of the silver halide emulsion layer and the non-light sensitive hydrophilic layers provided on the first side of the support contains a redox compound capable of releasing a deve…
