Abstract

Iodine-containing dendrimeric polymers of general formula I EQU A--(X).sub.b (I), in which PA1 A stands for a nitrogen-containing nucleus of basic multiplicity b, and PA1 b stands for the numbers 1 to 8 and PA1 X stands for a radical composed of ##EQU1## reproduction units S and at most 2.sup.n imaging radicals Z, in which PA2 n determines the number of generations and stands for the numbers 1 to 10, PA2 S and Z have various meanings, are valuable X-ray diagnostic agents.
