Abstract
An improved method of hardening a hydrophilic colloid is detailed. The hardening results in a stronger matrix and less water pickup. These and other advantages are obtained by hardening with a combination of at least one hardener chosen from Formula I either alone or in combination with at least one hardener chosen from Formula II: ##STR1## The substituents are defined.
