Abstract
A process for fabrication of sintered articles from a molybdenum-containing steel alloy by atomization, pressing, and sintering. The melt used for atomization has a molybdenum content determined as a function of the sintering temperature which lies in a range of 1050.degree.-1350.degree. C. The carbon content of the powder mixture is no more than 0.05% by weight and the reduction annealing takes place in a temperature range of 850.degree.-950.degree. C.
