Abstract
The present invention has an object to provide a reinforcing fiber sheet which permits sufficient reinforcement of a concrete structure with a smaller number of layers than in the conventional cases, without causing fracture of the sheet within a range of yielding of reinforcing bars. The reinforcing fiber sheet 1 of the invention comprises high-elasticity and high-elongation carbon fibers 4 having a modulus of elasticity of at least 35 ton/mm.sup.2 and a fracture elongation of at least 0.9%, arranged in an amount of at least 250 g/m.sup.2 in one direction through an adhesive layer 3 on a substrate sheet 2. The object of the invention can be achieved by providing the carbon fibers 4 of the reinforcing fiber sheet 1 with the above-mentioned properties.
