Abstract
A process for the preparation of triarylamines which comprises the reaction of an aniline and a haloaromatic component in the presence of a ligand copper catalyst, and wherein the ligand is selected from the group consisting of monodentate tertiary amines and bidentate tertiary amines, and which reaction is accomplished at a temperature of from about 120.degree. C. to about 150.degree. C.
