Abstract

The rubber mixtures according to the invention, containing at least one vulcanising agent, a filler, optionally other rubber additives and at least one reinforcing additive of the formula EQU R.sup.1 R.sup.2 R.sup.3 Si--X.sup.1 --(--S.sub.x --Y--).sub.m --(--S.sub.x --X.sup.2 --SiR.sup.1 R.sup.2 R.sup.3).sub.n are used for the preparation of vulcanised rubbers, wherefrom in particular tires having a low rolling resistance combined with a good wet skid resistance and a high abrasion resistance can be produced.
