Abstract

A high-temperature superconductor material based on the Bi--Sr--Ca--Cu--O system has the nominal composition: EQU (Bi.sub.1-u Pb.sub.u).sub.2 (Sr.sub.1-x-y Ca.sub.x Bi.sub.y).sub.4 Cu.sub.3 O.sub.10+d (d=delta) wherein 0.01<x<0.5 PA0 0.ltoreq.y<x<0.5 PA0 0.ltoreq.d PA0 0.ltoreq.u. The high-temperature superconductor material has a transition temperature greater than 90.degree. K.
