Abstract
Described is a method of repelling Aedes aegypti for a finite period of time from a three-dimensional space inhabited by Aedes aegypti consisting essentially of the step of exposing a three-dimensional space to an effective Aedes aegypti-repelling concentration and quantity of an unsaturated aldehyde or alcohol derivative-containing composition of matter selected from the group consisting of: PA1 (i) a mixture of compounds having the structures: ##STR1## and (ii) a compound having the structure: ##STR2##
