Abstract
The present invention relates to the production of vaccines having improved safety, particularly to a process therefor which allows even an AIDS vaccine to be manufactured, comprising in order, the steps of: PA1 a) treating the virus with a general inactivating agent; PA1 b) deaggregating the virus with a suitable solvent or detergent; PA1 c) treating the virus with an RNA and/or DNA inactivating agent; and PA1 d) stabilizing the virus with a suitable cross-linking agent.
