Abstract
A process for densifying a porous structure with boron nitride includes placing the porous structure in a borazene precursor of the formula RBNH wherein R is a halogen or hydrogen, heating by induction at a pressure of at least 1.2.times.10.sup.5 Pa and thereby decomposing the precursor to form boron nitride that is deposited within the pores of the porous structure.
