Abstract
The invention is concerned with novel odorants, including the compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 .dbd.R.sup.4 .dbd.CH.sub.3 and R.sup.2 .dbd.R.sup.3 .dbd.H or PA1 R.sup.1 .dbd.R.sup.2 .dbd.R.sup.3 .dbd.H and R.sup.4 .dbd.CH.sub.3, or PA1 R.sup.1 +R.sup.2 .dbd.--CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 -- and R.sup.3 .dbd.H and R.sup.4 .dbd.CH.sub.3, or PA1 R.sup.1 .dbd.R.sup.4 .dbd.CH.sub.3 and R.sup.2 +R.sup.3 .dbd.--CH.sub.2 -- or PA1 R.sup.1 .dbd.CH.sub.3 and R.sup.2 .dbd.R.sup.3 .dbd.H and R.sup.4 .dbd.CH.sub.2 CH.sub.3 or PA1 R.sup.1 .dbd.R.sup.2 .dbd.R.sup.4 .dbd.CH.sub.3 and R.sup.3 .dbd.H and R.sup.5 .dbd.H (preferred) or CH.sub.3.
