Abstract
Method for the production of a silicone-based fireproof protection means and protection means thus obtained. According to the invention, the protection means include: PA1 an inner polymerized unfilled silicone coating (3) adhering to an object (2) to be protected; and PA1 a fire-resistant fibrous jacket (5) carried by said inner coating (3), without adhering to it. Application to the protection of pipes, especially hydraulic pipes.
