Abstract
The oxidation hair dye composition contains from 0.01 to 4.0 percent by weight of a developer substance including at least one diaminopyrazole of the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a hydroxyalkyl group having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms and a substituted or unsubstituted benzyl group, and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3, independently, are each selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and a hydroxyalkyl group having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms; and from 0.01 to 4.0 percent by weight of a coupler substance including at least one m-phenylenediamine selected from the group consisting of N-(3-dimethylamino)phenyl urea and 3-(N-methylsulfonyl)amino-N,N-dimethylaniline.
