Abstract

The disclosure is directed to polyalkoxylated amines used as foam stabilizers and a method for cleaning in which foam produced by a detergent composition is maintained for an extended period of time. Detergent compositions including the new foam stabilizers are also disclosed as are methods for detergent foam stabilization. The new foam stabilizers build or enhance foaming and are particularly useful because of their surprisingly mild, non-skin-irritating characteristics. Mildness is a requirement of components to be included in or used in applications such as liquid dish detergents, hand cleaners and car washes.
