Abstract

Optically active phosphines of the general formula I or II ##STR1## where the variables have the following meanings: X is an optically active terpene radical, PA1 R is an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl radical, PA1 Y is a bridge member having 1-10 C atoms in the formula I PA1 n is 1,2 or 3 and PA1 m is 0,1 or 2 with the proviso that n+m=3 in the formula II PA1 n is 1 or 2 and PA1 m is 0 or 1 with the proviso that n+m=2, their preparation and use are described.
