The flexible collar is elliptical in cross-section and has an outwardly facing groove located at the top of the barrel portion for sealably receiving a periphery of the tube sheet aperture. The dimensions of the elliptically shaped groove are slightly greater than the associated aperture in the tube sheet, which preferably has first and second parallel major sides and first and second rounded outer ends.
