Abstract
Compounds of formula I ##STR1## where n=0-2; PA1 R.sup.1 is H, NH.sub.2 or a halogen; PA1 R.sup.2 is H or NH.sub.2 ; PA1 R.sup.3 is any of the four groups ##STR2## where m=0 or 1; and PA1 X is O, NR.sup.5, or S(O).sub.0-2 and, in group (b), the X's may be the same or different. Compounds of the invention have utility as inhibitors of purine nucleoside phosphyorylase (PNP).
