Abstract

The present invention relates to new thiazolo3,2-a!quinoline and thiazolo3,2-a!naphthyridine derivatives of the general formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, Z and X have the meaning indicated in the description, processes for their preparation and their use in antibacterial compositions.
