Abstract

A water-containing floor cleaning composition in the form of a dispersion containing a surfactant, plasticizer, a high molecular weight polymer having a molecular weight of between 5.times.10.sup.5 and 2.5.times.10.sup.6 which is water-insoluble at a pH of about 12, and a low molecular weight polymer having a molecular weight of up to about 100,000 which is water-soluble at a pH of about 9.
