Abstract
A driver tool has one or more magnets mounted or embedded within a conventional handle for providing a magnetizing and demagnetizing field, such fields being formed by permanent magnets which have energy products equal to at least 7.0.times.10.sup.6 gauss-oersteds. Magnets may be embedded within the handle and have polar surfaces exposed to provide the desired fields where the handle may be formed with one or more openings in which the fields are generated.
