Abstract
Ferritic stainless steel which can be used for the production of steel wool, whose composition by weight is the following: PA1 carbon.ltoreq.0.2%, PA1 silicon.ltoreq.2%, PA1 manganese.ltoreq.2%, PA1 11%.ltoreq.chromium.ltoreq.30%, PA1 nickel.ltoreq.1%, PA1 sulfur.ltoreq.0.030, PA1 calcium.gtoreq..times.10.sup.-4 %, PA1 oxygen.gtoreq.40 .times.10.sup.-4 %, the calcium and oxygen contents satisfying the following relationship: PA1 0.2.ltoreq.Ca/O.ltoreq.0.7.
