Abstract
Process for the preparation of N-alkyl substituted metal carbamate solutions characterized in that a water solution of the salt of the metal of which the corresponding carbamate is to be obtained, is reacted with an organic solution, basically consisting of an aprotic solvent and a secondary amine, saturated with carbon dioxide. The above solutions can be used as catalysts in polymerization reactions of unsaturated monomers or for supporting metals on inorganic oxides.
