Abstract
This invention provides low-Cr ferritic steels and low-Cr ferritic cast steels having excellent high-temperature strength and weldability. These low-Cr ferritic steels and low-Cr ferritic cast steels consist essentially of, on a weight percentage basis, 0.03 to 0.12% C, 0.05 to 0.7% Si, 0.05 to 1% Mn, 0.002 to 0.025% P, 0.001 to 0.015% S, 0.3 to 3% Cr, 0.01 to 1% Ni, 0.05 to 3% Mo, 0.01 to 0.5% V, 0.1 to 3% W, 0.01 to 0.2% Nb, 0.02 to 1.5% Re, 0.003 to 0.05% Al, 0.0001 to 0.01% B, 0.003 to 0.03% N, and the balance being Fe and incidental impurities, and have excellent high-temperature strength and weldability.
