Abstract
A glow pin control circuit for controlling the electrical heating energy of a glow pin, in particular for auxiliary heating apparatus in vehicles. The control circuit including a switch that alternatingly turns on and off the supply voltage in modulated and clocked manner and is situated between the supply voltage terminal (V+) on the high potential side. The glow pin (G) may be designed without a regulating filament.
