Abstract
A polyfluoroalkyl silicone having the general formula: EQU M.sub.a M'.sub.b D.sub.c D'.sub.d T.sub.e T'.sub.f Q.sub.g ; where PA1 M=R.sup.1.sub.u R.sup.2.sub.v R.sup.3.sub.w SiO.sub.1/2 with the sum of the subscripts u+v+w being 3 and the subscripts v and w are each independently 0 or 1; PA1 M'=R.sup.4 R.sup.5 R.sup.6 SiO.sub.1/2 ; PA1 D=R.sup.7.sub.x R.sup.8.sub.y SiO.sub.2/2 with the sum of the subscripts x+y being 2 and y is 0 or 1; PA1 D'=R.sup.9 R.sup.10 SiO.sub.2/2 ; PA1 T=R.sup.11.sub.z SiO.sub.3/2 with the subscript z being 1; PA1 T'=R.sup.12 SiO.sub.3/2 ; and PA1 Q=SiO.sub.4/2 ; where the substituent groups R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.8, R.sup.9, R.sup.10, and R.sup.12 are each independently selected from the group of one to forty carbon atom monovalent hydrocarbon radicals, the subscripts a, b, c, d, e, f, and g are zero or positive integers with the substituent groups, R.sup.1, R.sup.7, and R.sup.11, each independently selected from the group of consisting of monovalent polyfluoroalkyl groups having the formula CF.sub.3 (CF.sub.2).sub.n (CH.sub.2).sub.m and monovalent polyfluoroalkyl groups having the formula CF.sub.3 (CF.sub.2).sub.n J(CH.sub.2).s…
