Abstract
A controlled release nifedipine tablet which comprises: PA1 (a) a homogeneous compressed core which comprises: PA2 (i) a medicament; PA2 (ii) a water soluble osmotic compound PA2 (iii) one or more osmotic polymers; and PA1 (b) a membrane coating which completely covers said core tablet which comprises a mixture of: PA2 (i) a water insoluble pharmaceutically acceptable polymer; and PA2 (ii) an enteric polymer.
