Abstract

Novel compounds for the treatment of HIV-1 infection. These are 2-heteroary-5,11-dihydro-6H-dipyrido3,2-b:2',3'-e!1,4!diazepines of the formula ##STR1## wherein Z is oxygen, sulfur, .dbd.NCN or .dbd.NOR.sup.10 and Ar is a group of the formula I, II, III, IV or V ##STR2##
