Abstract

The invention relates to a high temperature forgeable alloy consisting of PA1 <0.05 C PA1 <0.5 Si PA1 <0.5 Mn PA1 8.5 to 11 Al PA1 <0.02 P PA1 <0.01 S PA1 4 to 10 Cr PA1 23 to 28 Fe PA1 0.025 to 0.2 Hf and/or rare earths and/or Zr PA1 <0.5 Ti PA1 <0.005 B residue nickel and admixtures due to melting. It is used in the production of articles for energy technologies and in the chemical industry. The alloy is resistant to sulphidization, carbonization and oxidation at temperatures between 400.degree. and 1100.degree. C.
