Abstract
An inorganic porous sintered body comprising inorganic particles of polyhedral crystals, said inorganic porous sintered body having pores formed by the inorganic particles, wherein said pores have a pore size distribution that a ratio of D10 to D90 is not more than 3 and D50 is 0.01-5 .mu.m when D10, D50 and D90 are pore sizes at 10%, 50% and 90% cumulation from the largest pore size of a cumulative pore volume distribution, respectively, and a porosity is 10-50%.
