Abstract
The invention provides compounds according to the formula ##STR1## in which: Ha=I or Br PA0 X=CH.sub.2 or C=O PA0 R.sup.1 =C.sub.1-4 alkyl PA0 R.sup.2 =--NHSO.sub.2 R.sup.3 ; PA0 --NHCOR.sup.3 ; or PA0 --NHCONHR.sup.3 where R.sup.3 =--CF.sub.3,C.sub.1-3 alkyl, 4-R.sup.4 C.sub.6 H.sub.4 --; where R.sup.4 =C.sub.1-4 alkoxy-; hydroxy-; fluoro-; or nitro-; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The compounds may particularly be used in the treatment of T3 regulated gene disorders and diseases.
