Abstract

The invention concerns 2-(dihydro)pyrazolyl-3'-oxymethylene!-anilides of formula (I) in which -- is a single or double bond and the subscripts and substituents are as follows: n 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4; m 0, 1 or 2; X a direct bond or CH.sub.2, oxygen or NR.sup.a, R.sup.a being hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl; R.sup.1 nitro, cyano, halogen or optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy or alkinyloxy; R.sup.2 nitro, cyano, halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio or alkoxycarbonyl; R.sup.3 optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl, heterocyclyl, aryl or heteroaryl; R.sup.4 hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, alkylcarbonyl or alkoxycarbonyl; R.sup.5 hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl. The invention also concerns methods of preparing such compounds, intermediates used in their preparation and their use.
