Abstract

The invention relates to substituted propanolamine derivatives and their acid addition salts. Propanolamine derivatives of formula I, ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 to R.sup.8 have the meanings indicated in the specification, and their physiologically tolerable salts and processes for their preparation are described. The compounds are suitable, for example, as hypolipidemics.
