The invention relates to novel substituted pyrimidin(ethi)ones of the general formula (I) ##STR1## in which Q, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 have the meanings mentioned in the description, PA1 a process for their preparation and their use as herbicides.
