Abstract
A piperazine compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein: X is carbonyl or sulfonyl; PA1 Y is a direct bond or lower alkylene; and PA1 R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 are as defined herein. The compounds are advantageously used as Tachykinin antagonists in the treatment of respiratory diseases, ophthalmic diseases and inflammatory diseases, for example.
