Abstract

A method for forming images is provided, comprising the steps of: PA1 i) providing a substrate comprising reactive group RGB, PA1 ii) providing toner particles comprising reactive group RGA, PA1 iii) image-wise depositing the toner particles on the substrate and PA1 iv) reacting the reactive group RGA with the reactive group RGB so as to harden the toner particles. The reactive group RGA and the reactive group RGB are a member selected from the group consisting of epoxy groups, aldehyde groups, hydroxyl groups, carboxyl groups, mercapto groups, amino groups and amide groups and are chosen such as to form a reaction pair.
